Summer Vacation - Five Quick Exercise Tips
Now that summer has arrived, vacation plans and details are top of mind. It's the time of year where you can get away from work, car pooling your kids to school, soccer, or baseball, and other stresses that occur throughout a normal day. Enjoy your vacation - you have earned it!
Although you can't bring your gym or all of your home fitness equipment with you on vacation, you can do a few simple exercises to keep that momentum going when you are on vacation.
- Pack a resistance band - resistance bands are one of the most versatile, portable fitness accessories that you can purchase. You can do a variety of exercises for your upper and lower body.
- Stretch – incorporating stretching into your routine. You’ll be amazed at how a 15-20 minute stretching session will energize you.
- Go to the park – find a local park and take a picnic. After your lunch, take a walk and explore the scenery.
- Old fashion sit-ups and push-ups – find a secure, comfortable setting and begin….its that simple. Try doing 2 more push-ups everyday.
- Pack a jump rope – you can get a quick cardio workout in just 15 minutes.
